F.A.Q.

What are your services like?

Our Sunday morning service uses a blend of modern praise music and time-honored hymns using a praise band and a praise team. The music is upbeat and uplifting using a full-range of musical instruments such as keyboards, drums, guitars and more. The services are designed to honor God and engage people. The atmosphere is comfortable and the people are very friendly. The preaching is passionate and practical, seeking to explain the eternal truths of God's Word and apply them to your everyday life.

What should I wear?

We're relaxed. Come in jeans or khakis; or if you prefer, come in a sport coat or dress. You'll find a variety of styles here. We're far more interested in your heart than your attire.

What about my children?

We have excellent ministries for your preschool and grade school children. Their classrooms are in south wing of the building where you'll find warm, friendly greeters to assist you in finding the right class(es) for your child(ren). All of our caring and committed children's workers are trained and screened to insure your child the safest, most enjoyable experience possible. We have Sunday School classes for all ages at 9:00 AM. We provide childcare through age three during the Worship service. To find out more about our Children's Ministry, click here.

What about my teenager?

Your 7th - 12th grade students will love it at Emmanuel because our Student Ministry is high energy and high impact. We strive to help your teens develop Christ-like character, a Biblical worldview and a passion for serving the needs of others and sharing the Gospel locally and around the world. Our students meet for Sunday School in the Youth Room in the southeast area of the church. To find out more about our Student Ministry, click here.

Where should I park?

We have specially marked spaces for guests on the front end of the building - which is the east side of the church. There is handicapped parking throughout.

Do you pressure people to give?

Never - we care far more about you than your money. However, we do take up an offering each week because we rely on our member's financial support to cover all the operating expenses of all of our ministries, missions and programs.

Where do I get started?

Most people start out visiting a Sunday Morning Worship Service (10:00 AM) to get introduced to our church. To really get to know people, we hope that you'll take the next step by visiting one of our Sunday morning Bible Study groups (Sunday School) at 9:00 AM. That's best place to develop relationships with our people and to get plugged in to the full life of our church. Don't worry; the classes aren't designed to test your Bible knowledge, but to build it. Whether you have an extensive church background, or you're a beginner, you'll fit right in.
